ASB Graphics announces acquisition of revolutionary state-of-the-art printing press

ASB Offers More Value and Flexibility to Clients Than Ever Before

High Point, NC – ASB Graphics, a diverse print service provider located in High Point NC, is excited to announce its purchase of the Fujifilm J Press 750S, a state-of-the-art digital printing press that is revolutionizing the print industry. The Fujifilm J Press 750S allows ASB Graphics to offer customers the same high-quality printing that is currently performed on traditional presses, but with much faster turn-around schedules and the ability to make short, customizable runs.

Since 1984, ASB Graphics has been catering to a diverse set of clientele as the in-house printer for ACME Sample, their sister company. ASB Graphics supplies ACME Sample with all of the printed materials they need to produce various swatchcards, fabric hanging samples, memos, and stack books to the textile and wall covering industry. Additionally, they are a core printer of custom scorecards to more than 500 different golf courses across the country. ASB Graphics also operates as a traditional commercial printer for the furniture industry and local photography studios.

The J Press 750S delivers the industry benchmark in quality, reliability and repeatability through advancements in technology across all aspects of digital printing, achieving a quality level that out-performs offset. For both static and variable jobs, the 750S prints 3,600 sheets per hour with a maximum sheet size of 23” x 29.5” (585mm x 750mm), running both coated and uncoated standard offset stock from 60 lb. text up to 24 pt. board stock. 

Reducing inventory and being able to deliver a consistent printed product without added cost creates numerous challenges. The J Press 750S solves these issues. “Having a best-in-show digital press allows us the flexibility to offer our customers lower quantities and customizable runs, a solution that we were not previously able to offer with our conventional press because of prohibitive offset production costs,” said Brisendine. 

The 750S is the third generation of the J Press series. This was one more reason ASB Graphics invested in this particular model. “The J Press series is proven technology, and Fuji is on the forefront in digital printing,” said Brisendine. “We cannot wait to show our customers what we are now able to do.”
